Had a customer bring me a Landoll trailer that needed some brake work and then surprised me with this giant crack in the deck frame! So I got it all beveled out and welded up then added some fish plates so he’s ready to roll. #welder #miller #thermalarc #landoll

Some Sunday work on this excavator bucket I’m rebuilding! It’s in pretty rough shape but one step at a time it’s coming together. Fit and tacked up the new moldboard today and it’s finally starting to look like a bucket again! #welder #heavyequipmentmechanic #CAT #morrillmetalworks

I swear this excavator keeps me so busy! It had way too much play in the quick coupler so I replaced the stick bushings and I finally got in these new pin bosses so I got them welded up and she’ll be back working tomorrow! Saturday CATerday! The quick coupler on this @catproducts 345C is back with more cracks and the bucket cylinder needs to be rebuilt. Not a bad 6th day to the workweek! #heavyequipmentmechanic #welder #CAT #24/7 #morrillmetalworks

This @catproducts D8 had the corner bit ripped off so I cleaned it up a bit and gave it some bevel, tacked it in place, and turned it over to another welder to finish up. We’ll see how long this fix lasts before I have have to get a new weld in section for it but we need this dozer pushing and this will do the job! #heavyequipmentmechanic #welder #torchcutting #CAT #morrillmetalworks
