We can't FLIPPING wait to be together again. In the meantime, let's celebrate #UnityWeek together...apart! Which workshops will you be attending for #FatherMoreauDay?
We would not be the nurturing and academically rigorous place we are without the dedication of our faculty and staff. At Moreau Catholic, we pride ourselves in #BeingFamily, so during this #COVID #CatholicSchoolsWeek, we send an especially heart filled thanks to the leaders of this family. Read what just a few have to say about why they love being Catholic school educators at MCHS.
Kaili Spooner '21, a member of Social Justice Leadership and of the Black Student Union, invites us to kick off Black History Month by celebrating the people, movements, and accomplishments of Black Americans over the years. Head librarian, Jessica Chun, has compiled lists of fiction and non-fiction books to help us all celebrate and learn more about Black history. https://linktr.ee/mchslibrary
Huge congratulations to Emily Kamalnathan '21 and Brandon Cote '22 who are the latest Mariners to earn the rank of #EagleScout! Emily is the first girl in Fremont to achieve this rank. Achieving Eagle takes much hard work and dedication, and we are so proud of you both.
We are so proud to report that the e-NABLE club, led by Ananya Mukundan '22, was able to successfully complete their first case! The recipient of the 3D printed hand, an 8 year old boy named Patrick, wanted a prosthetic to help him learn how to dirt bike. We can't wait for Patrick to get on that bike and we look forward to seeing many more smiling faces thanks to the work of @enable_mchs.

Moreau Catholic sits in the heart of Ohlone Nation land. Let us take a moment on this #IndigenousPeoplesDay and everyday to honor the people who inhabited and cared for this area for over 3,000 years. (Music: Ohlone Nation Song: Spirit of the Land, sung by RedStar and Anthony Sul)
In honor of #FirePreventionWeek, our Earthwise club put together this graphic to give tips on our current climate and some fire prevention methods.

Good morning, Mariners! We welcome you to join us for our virtual mass honoring Our Lady of Sorrows.
Today, we as Mariners pray for the thousands of lives lost as a result of the attacks that took place 19 years ago on this day. Our hearts are with all those who lost loved ones in these attacks, and we will #NeverForget those who lost their lives in the service of others. #Hayward911Memorial
President Terry Lee has been called to a new role in Holy Cross education, and has accepted the invitation to serve the Moreau Province as the next Director of School Sponsorship, effective July 1, 2021. Therefore, after 22 years at Moreau Catholic High School, he will be resigning from his position as president, effective June 30, 2021. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Lee on this exciting new endeavor and let us take the next few months to celebrate his years of dedicated leadership as we work to find a suitable candidate to fill his massive shoes!
