About a month ago I was contacted by a lovely lady who was moving from Oregon to California. She had two fully furnished homes and wished to donate 100% of her ...furntiute to a family that lost everything from the Camp Fire. She asked me to find a family for this to go to. Over the past several weeks I was able to find a family that lost their home and their business all the while having a new baby boy. I reached out to friends near and far to help team together and make this move happen. Local businessowners Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Yuba City, who are some of the kindest people I know, people I call friends were wonderful and contributed to thise cause. Because of their contributions we were able to rent a 20' Uhual and hire a moving company to load the truck in Oregon, and one in Yuba City to unload the truck. Thank you Pete's Restaurant & Brewhouse - Yuba City for helping this family start over in their new home here in Yuba City.This took a village.... Farmers Insurance Agency Development Center Sacramento DM Ryan NuttallSuzy Becker Wolff & Ryan Nuttall, without you two, this couldn't have happened. Ryan and Suzy flew to Oregon, picked up the Uhaul and drove it back in one day and delivered it to the family. This is community right here! Thank you all for your generosity, big hearts, and committment to our community. Without you this could/would never have happend. Thank you to the wonderful family that was so generous in donating their furntiture, and for finding me and giving me the opportunity to help.
