Slow Burn For Two, aka Doug & Rachel - a pair of Broadway & MetOpera veterans turned husband & wife cocktail jazz duo. We specialize in live intimate entertainment including classic jazz, Broadway & Italian standards, vintage takes on modern hits + some of our own songs. Doug was last seen at Moonlight as Chris in Miss Saigon in 2010. Since then he toured with his wife Rachel on Dirty Dancing On Tour, debuted on Broadway in Beautiful, & starred in many regional houses includi...ng Goodspeed Opera House, Papermill Playhouse & Musical Theatre West. Currently, Doug teaches Voice & Musical Theatre at UNLV in Las Vegas. Rachel grew up attending Moonlight productions while living nearby in Escondido. In addition to touring with Dirty Dancing, Rachel was honored to join the original cast of Susan Stroman's The Merry Widow at the Metropolitan Opera and worked as a featured principal dancer on the STARZ miniseries Flesh & Bone created by Moira Walley-Beckett, Breaking Bad. Rachel serves as a Dance Faculty member with Theater Arts Preparatory School (TAPS), Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas & teaches Pilates & MELT Method classes across the Vegas valley. www.slowburnfortwo.com See more

Join Moonlight Youth Theatre alum Celeste Butler for a beautiful evening of song and memories! Streaming live on the Moonlight Stage Productions' Facebook Friday, August 21, 2020 at 5:00pm PT. Celeste Butler is a creative visionary, with a passion for art, community, and culture. Her heart for people and social change have shown their prominence through her roles as an international entertainer, multimedia event producer, and social change advocate. Since her start with Moon...light Youth (Peter Pan, Once on this Island, Forte for Children Benefit featuring John Legend, featured duet with Megan Hilty in Megan Hilty Under the Stars), Celeste has gone on to perform with legendary artists such as Diana Ross, Chaka Khan, and Esperanza Spalding. Some of her recent works include acting in an award-winning satirical short film entitled Tokenism, a web-series pilot entitled Haven, and a live Theater of the Oppressed piece entitled Radical Fictions: A Seat at the Table that debuted at the California African American Museum. Celeste is a proud two-time alum of the University of Southern California (USC), where she graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Popular Music Performance and a Masters of Science in Arts Leadership. Currently, Celeste is filming a web-based series entitled Gamer Girls, writing and recording a Soul/Funk EP, and spearheading an inclusive social media initiative with Wendy Raquel Robinson’s nonprofit, Amazing Grace Conservatory.
