My wife wrote this story about our cat Mel. While I don’t have a FB page of my own she’s allowing me to share from hers. Hope you enjoy the story. Mark Ross

One of the best parts of my job, Dr. Ross. Hey that little tabby is pushing his paw into his litter mates face. Sibling rivalry or cats play?

NEED HELP EVACUATING ANIMALS? I’m Savannah Ross with Montgomery Village Veterinary Clinic. I help volunteer for a group called NorCal Livestock Evacuation and Support. During the past fires they helped me evacuate my horses when I did not have any other way to do so! They are an amazing team and care deeply about the safety of your animals big and small. ... Volunteers have been working around the clock to help evacuate animals out, and feed/give water to animals that are still in evacuated zones. If anyone needs animals evacuated or taken care of, or you know someone who needs help please do not hesitate to call! This is a 24/7 volunteer group, and I can say first hand from them helping evacuate my animals to now working with them they are beyond amazing and have such a passion for helping those in need. The number to call is 707-234-7193. If you can please share this information I know there are a lot of people who do not know what to do in this situation and we are here to help! Please share
