Congratulations to Samantha Santos of the Gonzales FFA for being selected as the 2017 Heritage Scholarship recipient. Besides raising this year’s MCF Heritage A...nimal, Samantha will also show and sell her FFA pig project at the Monterey County Fair Junior Livestock Auction on Saturday, September 2nd. All proceeds from the sale of the Heritage hog will benefit youth in the community by promoting scholarship opportunities, and the capital campaign to improve the barns, grounds, and event center venues at the Monterey County Fair.
