We will have our outdoor, GroupEx class- body bar, Monday, January 18th, at 8:30am, along with our food distribution at the Y, because hunger does not take vacation, and we believe that MLK would support the Y being here to help community during a time of struggle like now!

Thank you, community volunteers, for coming together to bundle non-perishable foods for upcoming "Grab & Go" food distribution days at the Y. Your giving with great hearts is what makes community. Props to everyone continuing to give of their time going into month 11, and into 2021; we're committed together to see it through until we may continue to gather under better circumstances.

"Grab & Go" is of non-perishables this Monday- that along with formula, diapers and wipes for babies, and breakfasts & lunches ready to eat for children. Tickets issued to those in line at 8am with distribution beginning at 9am. Non perishables thanks to support from #LACOVIDFund & Superior Grocers, baby products with thanks to Baby2Baby, and ready to eat meals with thanks to Nutritious Life Meals Program.

Need a flu shot? Vouchers for no-cost flu shots at CVS Pharmacy good through February are also available for the asking at our "Grab & Go" distribution days on Mondays and Thursday mornings. This way, you can go at your convenience. Reserved for those without insurance to help all remain healthy.

Thursday morning (tomorrow) is Produce Day at the Y- tickets provided to those in line at 8am with distribution of both produce and our 'ready to eat' lunches & breakfasts for minors just as soon as all products are delivered and ready- generally around 9am.. Gratitude to FoodForward for our produce donation, and to Nutritious Life Meals Program for our fresh meals for children, as well as to Baby2Baby for providing formula, diapers & wipes.

We're out of non-perishables for the day, including toilet paper, diapers, baby wipes and formula. Please visit again Thursday morning for fresh produce along with diapers and baby products, courtesy of and with gratitude to our new partner Baby2Baby! 6 packs of toilet paper today were a "one-off" (just to help folks get through a week or so, hopefully until it's less high demand in stores again). Thanks also to our wonderful and continuing partner Superior Grocers who has supported our efforts since the beginning! New, blue tape lines have just been laid on the sidewalk and around our parking lot at safe distance for our "Grab & Go" food distribution days on Mondays & Thursday mornings. Now more than ever, it's literally critical to keep appropriate distance from others for the safety of everyone in our community! Thank you also, everyone, for wearing your face coverings.
