Exciting things coming! Repost from @richard.krantz.architecture We continue work on developing the character of the individual buildings of the Monserate Winery in Fallbrook. As a part of the story of a repurposed Tuscan farm amidst a roving vineyard this would have been the farmhouse, now to serve as the wedding venue preparation area and administrative center.

Repost from @richard.krantz.architecture "My current concept sketch of the Barrel Room at Monserate Winery. Actually an individual building it is an important part of the Winery story as an assembly of agrarian rural Tuscan inspired buildings established amongst the Italian sourced variety vineyards and hills of Fallbrook. The wine tasting and wine club will be fundamental elements of the complex and this building will be part of several wedding venues serving multiple role...s, including a wedding reception space. It is uniquely expressed as a stone wine barrel storage structure that is repurposed for event functions. With the patina of soft old world plastered stone walls and ceilings the barrel vault is highlighted by alcove windows and doors bringing in light and views from the adjacent courtyard and vistas beyond. The simple direct elegant blend provided by this background will be able to be accented to express the individual aspirations of each event planner." See more
