Congratulations to Henry R. of Granada Hills, CA. He was the winner of our opening weekend fishing derby, with his 6 lb. 7oz. Rainbow caught on powerbait. We thank everyone who entered our derby and supported the Upper Twin Lake Fish Enhancement Program.

Opening Day 2021!! Many thanks to all the campers who make Mono Village their home away from home. We appreciate you all and look forward to our 2021 season. Fish being planted tomorrow by Desert Springs Trout Farm (courtesy of Mono Co.) , to add to those already planted by CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, as well as Bridgeport Fish Enhancement Foundation. Opening Day of fishing is this Saturday. Look forward to welcoming everyone back!!

This years selection of Christmas decorations are now for sale in our gift shop! Open daily.

FYI: The Humboldt-Toiyabe closure does not effect Mono Village, as we are privatetly owned. Our campground, cabins, motels, cafe, boat house, and grocery store are all open. Smoke conditions vary daily. We have closed our overnight hiker parking in compliance with the National Forest closures. We have also banned all campfires and there is no cigarette or cigar smoking allowed outside of vehicles or RVs. No open flames or firewood are allowed. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

*Additional information as of September 8. We are privately owned, and all operations at our resort are open. All campfires are prohibited on our property. Propane fire pits are also prohibited on our property.... Our cafe has reopened to 50% indoor seating and we are still offering meals to go. Cafe hours 7:30am - 7:30pm. Have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend.

Fish! Stocking by Desert Springs into Upper Twin this evening. Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Upper Twin Lake Fish Enhancement Program. Your donations help make these stockings possible.

In compliance with the latest restrictions placed upon businesses in California, our cafe is now to go orders only. We will be open from 7:30 am to 8 pm with all menu items available. We have set up an outdoor eating area with pop up tents to offer shade and will also have our patio area open to our customers. Masks must be worn when ordering and picking up food. We ask that you please maintain your trash and place in the proper receptacles upon completion of your meal. Please help keep the area neat and clean of trash. We gratefully appreciate your patronage and hope you will work with us through this difficult time. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Bear Den snack shack is now open daily, 11-5. Soft serve, pretzels, popcorn, nachos, root beer floats and more. Treat yourself, you deserve it.

Good morning from Mono Village, A few updates. Our cabins and motels are now fully open for the season. Please call for availability. Pre-existing reservations are good to go!... Short term camping is open on a first come first serve basis. No reservations are taken on dry or hook up sites. F section in the campground will be opening today at noon. Bear den will be opening on June 19th! Per Mono County, social distancing and face masks are required inside our facilities, please come prepared. We look forward to seeing you all, here's to a great summer!

More great catches from Upper Twin!

A few more good ones caught this week. Catching has been steady, limits are being caught still fishing powerbait and nightcrawlers. Speedy shiners, Thomas bouyants, and the new hot fire wobbler have been the best lures to use trolling. Also flatlining flies have proven to be successful.

Fishing is off to a great start!
