After this temporary closure to support public health protocols, we are excited to pick up where we left off and offer our guests the hospitality and meaningful connection that we are known for. ... Based on recent statements from the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department, immediate risk due to COVID-19 remains low and there have been no repo...rted cases of the virus in our county. Nonetheless we have taken extra measures as recommended by the CDC to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous than usual. At the same time, we request that all of our patrons follow the same vigilance and take seriously the responsibility to stay home if you are feeling unwell. Founded by Sherry Villanueva, Acme’s team demonstrates indefatigable leadership, community activism and excellence in action. KATY BABCOCK, MANAGER, TYGER TYGER & MONKEYSHINE Katy was born and raised in Carpinteria but spent some childhood years in Lake Tahoe. Katy attended c...ulinary school at Santa Barbara City College. She says that food service and hospitality have always been a driving focus for her and a source of fulfillment in her life. Katy loves the feeling of family in the guest relationships she and the team create.
