When I saw her showcase it during a Shibui event on zoom, I knew it had to be in my wardrobe! Knit in Shibui Twig, it holds an amazing drape while remaining crisp. The perfect summer sweater. Our surprise is finally here! Now introducing The Curated Stitch-our first ever subscription box. Treat yourself to a curated collection of beautiful yarns, notions, and items from our favorite local small businesses. This is your chance to discover some of our favorite things that might not appear on the shelves of our shop, delivered right to your doorstep, seasonally. The theme of our first box is calm and comfort. Included will be two skeins of 100% cashmere softness fr...om Cashmere Treats a Bay Area hand-dyer. The beautiful color, Pacific Grove, was created especially for the box and will come with a pattern! Our box will also feature lovely stitch markers from Thread and Maple, my favorite jam, and other surprises that will not be revealed until you open the box! Will will be shipping our boxes only 4 times in 2021 At the end of February, end of May, end of August and early November. There are a limited number of boxes available, so if you would like to ensure you get each box, you can purchase an annual subscription or purchase them, if available, quarterly.

My sweater KAL pick was a lovely Fair Isle sweater, but I had to face the facts: while I love the look of them, I know I will reach for simple pieces every time, and Julie hoover's Veneto is a classic wardrobe staple that I have long admired. I love the color blocks and crewneck shape. I'm knitting mine in MYak lace held double, an incredibly soft and wearable fabric for springand Monterey Peninsula summers! We have a selection of kits online, like mine shown here as well as a gorgeous blue and a stunning green combo.
