Kicking butt in 2019! What are you fighting for this year? What is important to you? Find your drive. Find your passion. Find that thing that sets your soul on fire and go for it. If it’s to be healthier, stronger, faster, or more confident, do it. Start now. Day one, not one day.
The first week of the New Year is almost over. Did you workout? My girls did. They crushed their workouts this first week back. If you make no other goals, make one to be consistent in whatever it is you want to achieve this year. Consistency is key and the only way you will reach your goals. Make a promise to yourself and don’t break it. One day, one workout, one step at a time. And don’t let childcare be your excuse! These mamas brought their kids and showed them that they are making their health a priority. When you think about quitting, remember who’s watching.
This is what time I started workout this morning. 3:55 am. And it was 51 degrees inside and 31 degrees outside.it was early and it was cold! I’m not going to lie, my motivation isn’t there yet. Usually, I’m ready to get back to routine right after Christmas and start smashing goals. But this year, I’m just not there yet. My warm bed has been made it hard to get up in the morning. Even though it’s been rough, I have started the New Year on the right foot with good workouts and solid nutrition. Because when motivation fails, discipline will carry you through. I know my motivation will show up eventually, but until then,I’m glad I have trained my body and mind to do the work no matter what. I’m back in my routine thanks to all the work I put in the rest of the year. So do it anyways. Even When you don’t want to. You will be glad you did.
Happy New Year!! I hope 2019 brings incredible opportunities and possibilities for you all! I have been horrible at posting, but just because I’m not on here doesn’t mean my girls aren’t in the gym every day killing their 2018 goals and gearing up for 2019. We’ve had 30 pounds weight losses, crazy back squat PRs, muscle gains, and a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what these ladies do in 2019! Join us and make this year your best yet! And I promise to try and get back on here more.
I am so incredibly proud of @brandidvine She has worked her butt off (literally) for the last 5 months. Hard work and consistency will always pay off and help you reach your goals. She has been in the gym at least twice a week every single week, and sometimes wakes up at 4 am to get it in. Hey she’s a busy mom with 3 kids! If she can do it, so can you. Down almost 30 pounds, so many inches, and we aren’t done yet. Glad to have her as a client and a friend
This one is wrong.... she owes it all to herself! This is what happens when you show up ready to work and give it your all every single session. My girls are so awesome
Physical and mental health: they are equally as important. You have to take care of your body AND mind to be the best version of yourself. For me right now, this means a few minutes of quiet each morning to drink coffee and reflect. I have been lazy practicing gratitude and I am making it a point to be disciplined with it again. Just like I am with my workouts. I haven’t felt the best about myself lately, and I am trying to change my mindset. I’ve had fun the last few weekends, but the junk food is taking its toll. I can work out as hard as I want, but I still won’t feel good if I don’t fuel my body and my mind correctly. So here’s to Monday, more mindful eating, being more grateful, and kicking this week’s ass. You can do it! Start today. New week. New everyday. New goals.
I have been a little MIA on the social media aspect lately. Between full days of clients and my baby girl in school full time and all our activities, it’s been crazy! But we are still here. Working hard as ever. And my girls are just killing it. Two different texts I got yesterday showing me that hard work is paying off and mindsets are being changed. Working hard makes you feel good. Feeling good gives you confidence. And confidence helps you achieve things you never thought you could. Make the change. One day at a time.
It’s Monday y’all! How many of you overindulged this weekend? And last Labor Day weekend? I did. With birthdays and end of summer and the start of school, I have been less than good the last few weeks when it comes to eating. The good news? Today is Monday. Today we can start a new week off right. Everyone has setbacks, but it’s how we come back from them that make us strong and move us towards our goals. Workout today. Eat healthy. Start now. Don’t beat yourself up. Just let this be your reset and the beginning of good choices. Get back on the road you know you should be on. Make it your day, your week, and your time.
Finish strong Friday! Grab your workout partner and kick some butt! It will feel great to start your weekend off feeling strong and energized (unlike this picture). Call a friend, partner, husband, wife, son, daughter and make it happen. Or sign up for my partner or group classes! They are super motivating and hold you accountable. Have a great weekend!
I have 1 Partner/ Small Group spot available on Monday and Wednesday at 10 am! $110 a month. It’s a comfortable, non intimidating setting and the perfect place to work hard and have fun. Message me if you are interested. Hurry before it fills!
