This will be the third year that we’ve put on our Circa Caliente event, but this is the eighth year that the person behind Tiki Caliente has created an October event, so you can trust that it will be organized and you will be entertained. If you love mid-century modern style and a healthy mix of Tiki and pop-culture nostalgia, then Circa Caliente is the event is for you. This event’s locationthe Caliente Tropics Resort in Palm Springsis an historic, Mid-Century Tiki hotel, designed and built by Ken Kimes in 1963. It is a Tiki wonderland of hand-hewn vintage Tikis, contemporary Tiki art by Bosko and Tiki Ray, flickering Tiki torches, palm trees, a gorgeous pool AND...its own infamous Tiki bar "The Reef".
