The irrigation water stored behind the Don Pedro Project dam is used by some 9,000 TID and MID farmers and ranchers to cultivate over 200,000 acres and produce food for the region, state and world. The capacity of Don Pedro allows our bountiful agriculture lands to sustain multiple dry years, like those we are experiencing now.
