I’ve been waiting to speak up too much about High School Musical because I’ve wanted to immediately unveil The New Idea; a brilliant solution that we can all get behind, together. It’s so hard, as a director, to admit that I truly don’t know how to navigate these rough, uncharted waters. Each new imagined date gets pushed back; each new idea has its own complications. Nevertheless, I remain resolute in my determination to give these precious students the show they’ve worked s...o hard for whenever and wherever I can. At MCPA we dream boldly, we say yes, and, and entertain the craziest ideas. We’re believers. We believe in God’s purpose and plan, we believe that we are always better together, and we believe that doing the work is always worth it in the end. Because we’re believers and dreamers and doers, we have hope. We have hope that we’ll endure these difficult days with courage and fortitude. We have hope that we will emerge from them with strength and dignity. And we have hope that we will then dance and sing to the highest heavens with all the joy, love, gratitude in our hearts. The situation is ever evolving, but for now we will continue to plan and prepare for our April 3rd opening at the Gallo Center. We lift our global community up in prayer, asking God for healing, relief, and comfort. In these uncertain times we are more convinced than ever that in life, in faith, and in hope we are always #inthistogether

Our closing show on April 5th will be an alumni day, including a special guest appearance by Matthew Ollson as Coach Bolton! Seeing these two brothers share the stage again will be nostalgic and heartwarming for all longtime MCPA fans.
