All the remaining herbs are bagged up and the jars are getting cleaned out to sell. We will be open Saturday from 10-3, our last day. Most everything left will be 50% off.

We will be open Wednesday from 11-4, a couple hours later than we have been. 30% off everything except kombucha, it’s still 20% off. This is our final week before we pack up on Sunday and will only be open Wednesday and Saturday..... Real quick, we just wanted to say that when we moved here, after spending almost 10 years in Oregon, we kinda chose this area on a whim. We had no family, no friends, and no idea what kind of community we were moving into. Opening this business ...was a way for us to see if other people were into this modern homesteading hobby/lifestyle that we were learning about and trying to live. We are so happy to have met so many of you that share these same interests as us. It’s like we found our people, so thank you for that! I know nows not the time to be thanking people for being out and about, but, we just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our little store on Saturday to support us and help clear out inventory. We will be back open again this Wednesday 11-2 and Saturday 10-1.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad timing that our lease is up, but it has forced us to make a decision about the future of our store. If you would have asked mid-February if we planned to renew our lease, we would have said yes, absolutely. If you asked mid-March, we wouldn’t have known what to say because we were in a daze, still trying to process everything. Mid-April? We were reading and trying to figure out the future of businesses and social distancing and occupancy restr...ictions and having a hard time finding a way to still operate in a 1,000 sq ft. store. Guidelines we see say 5 people per 1,000 sq. ft. While that would be ok for retail, our workshops wouldn’t be able to continue. This would eliminate one of the main reasons we started this business. We’re still relatively new, still trying to execute our business plan and having to do a 180, or 90 degree shift seems daunting and not the experience we were wanting by starting a small family business. So, now it’s May 1st, and we’ve decided that we will close by the end of the month. We’re not confident that things will return back to normal soon, and in the mean time, we just need to take a step back and reevaluate things, without the pressure of losing money every month. Maybe we’ll come back someday, possibly collaborating with another business, with larger space, to offer workshops again. Or maybe someone else will come along and start up a refill store for or community. We just need to wait right now and see what becomes of 2020.....That being said, we are open this Saturday from 10-1 and will continue to have limited hours unless California changes it’s criteria sometime this month. We would love to pass on as much inventory as possible, and will continue with 20% off purchases for now.
