Some studies show that being outside around trees or in the forrest increases the number of natural killer cells in your immune system. The job of natural killer cells are to go after viruses and also cancer/abnormal cells. Trees release something called phytoncides that increase your NK cells. There are other studies that show Vitamin D important for improved immune health. You get vitamin D by exposing your skin to the sun. Good reminder to be in nature! Www.modernintegrativemedicine.com

I made some green juice! It's cleansing, alkalizing, full of minerals and Vitamin C! Makes at least 1 quart and you can refrigerate for 4-5 days. Here's what I put in: 3 whole stocks of celery, 4 whole lemons including the rind, 4 oranges! Keep that immune system healthy with good nutritious foods! Cold viruses and MRSA can survive on surfaces for 168 hours (7 days). Psa: wash your hands with soap and water if you touch public surfaces and don’t touch your nose or face if you don’t have clean hands. I bring disinfectant wipes on the plane to clean off the tray table before using it! Stay healthy! Www.modernintegrativemedicine.com
