Quarantine got you down? Miss your favorite tattooers? That’s ok. We’re going to bring the tattooers to you, and invite you to bring your own creativity to the party! Join us for the first of a series of live drawing nights that we hope to expand in the coming weeks. This Saturday, Modern Electric Studio is proud to host our first While You Were Out drawing party, named for our upcoming book! Join us on Zoom Saturday from 7:30pm - 10:30pm. This weekend we’ll be doing ex...quisite corpse drawings, creating humorous, absurd and frightening images from random dice rolls. Select guest art pieces will be posted on the MES Instagram! This digital meet and greet is a great way for you to get to know your artists. Ever wanna ask a tattooer something, but feel sheepish about it? Draw with us in the virtual studio, and work pixelated elbow to pixelated elbow. While You Were Out will be a limited edition 64 page, black and white hard bound zine, consisting of our quarantine art projects, studies, flash sheets, personal thoughts, and line drawings by the 7 artists of MES.
