New sign for the shop. Happy Leo!
Ok, YOU'VE GOT TO SEE THIS! Every morning, retired 72 year-old Stephen Mckears kept finding his tools that he'd left on his workbench the day before, stored bac...k in his toolbox. He put a camera on his workbench overnight. It revelead a mouse that spent two hours every night putting everything back in the toolbox! See more
"Well, it ran fine when I parked it there..."
We are open for our usual hours this week, M-F 8am to 5pm. We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and then back to our usual hours on Wed-Thur-Fri. Then, we will be closed New Years Eve and New Years Day, and once again open Wed-Thur-Fri We hope everyone enjoys their holidays- and thank you all.
Maybe your car is still under warranty; or perhaps your car is considered ‘vintage’. Or something in between. Ralf, David, and Leo have over 125 years combined experience in German auto repair. Sometimes you need a code reader- and sometimes you need a trained ear. We have both, so stop by and see us if you need service or repair.
At our shop, the basic underhood check is part of every engine oil change. We’re already there, under the hood, so it is a normal extension of the process. As winter arrives, make sure that your car is ready. We check everything under the hood: belts, hoses, filters and fluids. We also check such things as motor mounts, battery hold-downs and terminal ends, and even the battery itself. It’s generally a visual examination, to look for anything that might indicate a problem. The object is to find and correct small problems before they become big ones that can leave you stranded.
Baja 1000 Race Day morning- Ralf, Eric, and Leo stopped in San Vicente, Baja California, to say hello to a couple friends. Headed south, loaded with fuel for the Wilson Motorsports team.
Performing regular maintenance on your vehicle is a great way to increase fuel mileage. A tune up and changing the air filter will make your engine more efficient. Use the recommended grade of quality motor oil. Make sure your tires are inflated to the proper pressure. Replace the fuel filter at the recommended interval. We can help- stop by and see us!
We know that feeling. And we also know that quality replacement parts aren’t cheap. But many times you can fix a simple problem before it becomes a disaster. You can ignore the noise, but the problem is still there. Protect your investment, and bring it in for an inspection.
Happy Veterans Day. A ‘thank you’ to all that have served. To better serve our clients, we will be open tomorrow (Monday, Nov 12). Our week will be short, as we will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday the 14th- we are headed down to Mexico to cheer for our friends at Wilson Motorsports in the Baja 1000. We will reopen on Monday, November 19th. If you need service or repair, come and see us! Thanks!
