When my client Jodene asked me to do this blonde balayage I was honestly so excited! I love doing hand painted balayage because it’s so natural and poppy! Have you considered doing a hand painted balayage?... What do we think of Jodene’s result? Is this something you would do?

Does anyone else’s mood depend on how good their hair looks? Just me? Ha just kidding(kinda)but I have to share I am happy and the most de-stressed I’ve been in a long time! I have to say having time off recently has been so helpful for my mood and my energy. If you know me- you know I work a lot. Like a lot a lot. Sometimes I tend to over do it.... A lot of you seem to watch my stories and can tell I’ve been escaping out to the desert more and more. For all those who are concerned I’m not going to leave LA my desert home is just a place for me to unwind. My stress seems to melt away. Change of scenery has been helpful for me to actually take breaks and take time for myself. I used to work 6 days a week and just constantly stress out about my work schedule ahead of me. Today I’m just sitting here enjoying my Wednesday off. I’m ready for tomorrow which will be my busiest day of the week. I encourage everyone to take some kind of break for themselves. Enjoy your time off, and indulge!

What’s something you’re grateful for today? I’m grateful for working at an awesome woman owned business @perchsalon and grateful for wonderful clients! This being one of my awesome clients!
