Thank you to all the veterans of the US military that have served This flag is able to be flown with pride and meaning because of them. My own grandfather immigrated from Canada to the States as a teenager in the 1940’s to join the US Navy where he served 20+ years through multiple wars. For that I am grateful. Happy Independence Day! Can’t wait to be back in the Ramona Rodeo arena again flying Old Glory

Today, and every day, we honor soldiers we have lost because they paid the ultimate sacrifice for this country. If you are ever able to, thank a service member or a veteran for their efforts serving our United States. While we cannot personally thank those who lost their lives we can pay respects to them and thank those who are here today. We at Ramona Rodeo cannot wait to see everyone August 21-23 for this year’s rodeo!

Happy Mother’s Day to my rodeo momma, and all the other mommas out there! We wouldn’t be successful without you all. It takes a special kind of woman to spend just as much time and effort into a rodeo queen title as the queen. For all the early mornings and late nights you’ve spent with me, I appreciate it. 10 years of being a rodeo queen ain’t easy and I’m lucky to have had you backing me the whole time. Love you lots!

Ever thought about being a rodeo queen? Has your daughter, niece, neighbor, friend or coworker ever showed interest in becoming one? Come down the hill to our neighbor rodeo in Poway to orientation this Thursday night!

Just wanted to share that I had to get my Ram truck serviced and I went to Poway Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram for it. I had the best experience! They got me an appointment the very next morning from when I called and had me in & out of there in an hour for 2 recalls. My service writer Dennis was great and helped me out a lot. If you need anything serviced or are in the market for a new vehicle, go see them! They are a huge sponsor of the Ramona Rodeo & other events in the community as well!

Yesterday I got to represent Ramona Rodeo at the annual Teens, Jeans & Dreams team penning charity event at Del Mar Fairgrounds! I am so thankful for the opportunity to present the flag for opening ceremonies and compete in such a fun event. The best part was I got to be on a team with some of my best friends and we had the fastest time of the night on 3 head! Our second round was not very impressive but we had a blast. Thank you to all the people who put on this event to benefit foster youth at San Pasqual Academy and all the people who attended and supported the event. Can’t wait until next year!

Had such an amazing weekend at Poway Rodeo! I hold this rodeo close to my heart because both sides of my family are from Poway and I was born there. I also held rodeo queen titles for Poway Rodeo for 4 years. My horse Penny and I spent a total of 15 hours at the rodeo grounds on Saturday so she had her own little teal pen to chill in between performances. The best part of the weekend was Sam’s Posse Exceptional Kids Rodeo. The organization invited any kids who had physical and/mental disabilities to come have their time to shine on the arena dirt. I helped kids get the feel for barrel racing and pole bending on their trusty stick horses while others taught them to rope and ride bulls. Seeing the smiles on their faces were the best part of the day. I am also happy so many of my friends got to join me this weekend!

Queens run at Poway Rodeo this weekend! Weather was chilly, a bit rainy, and a perfect formula for a bad queen hair day I had so much fun this weekend and I will be posting more pictures once I get them all sent to me!
