FEATURING THE BEST OF TWO WORLDS! WINE OF THE WEEK -Only 3 days left!- I2018 TABLAS CREEK "COTES DE TABLAS" ADELAIDA DISTRICT - PASO ROBLES RHONE STYLE RED BLEND, CALIFORNIA... 28.79 per bottle for 6 bottles or more or 32.39 per bottle (Regular: 35.99) Buy Now don’t regret later Tablas Creek needs no introduction. Jointly founded by Perrin family of Chateau Beaucastel fame and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands, Tablas Creek is ground zero for the Rhone movement in California. Founded in 1989 in the Adelaide district of Paso Robles, Tablas Creek was literally built from the ground up, planted to vine cuttings imported from the Rhone Valley, France. And since the beginning, Tablas Creek has also been an important grapevine nursery and leader in organic, Biodynamic and restorative agriculture. Cotes de Tablas is a Tablas Creek’s take on a classic Cotes du Rhone blend, made in a drink or hold style that can be enjoyed tonight but has the capacity to age. Based on Grenache with portions of Syrah, Counoise, and Mourvedre, the 2018 Rouge is truly exceptional. Aged in large French oak barrels, this shows all the fruit and spice we love in good Cotes du Rhone with the complexity and depth of character from the very best Paso Robles terroir. Ripe red and black fruits mingle with notes of cracked pepper, chocolate, and fig for a complex and fully satisfying wine that finishes with lingering savory notes and chalky tannins. It will complement many dishes, especially grilled steaks, pastas with meat sauces and rich beef stews. That being said, the 2018 vintage in particular has great potential to age and would make a worthy addition to any cellar 94 points Wine Enthusiast.

BEWARE! 3 DAYS LEFT! WINE OF THE WEEK: 2017 LUKE WAHLUKE SLOPE COLUMBIA VALLEY SYRAH, WASHINGTON STATE. Order now here -> https://ecs.page.link/Zc9Y2 18.39 per bottle for 6 bottles or more or 20.69 per bottle(Regular: 22.99)... Buy now, it is going fast. The Wahluke Slope region of Washington’s Columbia Valley is fast becoming a source for some of the best wines in the state. Inspired by the name Wahluke, which is the local tribal word for "watering place", Luke wines are made with the intention to capture the bold character of Wahluke terroir: A large alluvial plain, that enjoys the ideal conditions for hearty black grapes like Syrah to thrive without threat of frost. A long, warm growing season ensures full development of flavor and structure in the fruit, yielding powerful, concentrated wines. Composed of 100% Syrah and aged in French and American oak, the 2017 Syrah is no exception. Almost opaque in the glass, it explodes with aromas of ripe black fruits accented by mocha and smoky spice. Intensely concentrated, with a velvety mouthfeel and great depth of flavor, this punches well above its price. 91 points James Suckling: Shows quite a bit of wood now with chocolate and walnut to the hints of spice, meat and fruit. Full-bodied, layered and velvety. 91 points Wine Enthusiast: Appealing aromas of coffee, assorted dried herbs and whiffs of smoked meat are followed by a soft, sultry palate, full of plum flavors that glide on the finish. The tannins show a little tackiness at present, revealing the wine's youth. Give it a short decant to see it deliver. 90 points Wine Spectator: Zesty and plump, with easy going fruit, offering blackberry and pepper flavors that build richness toward polished tannins. Drink now through 2025." *WINE OF THE WEEK* Offer valid thru midnight 10/21/2020

Tragically parts of the estate, outbuildings and the Brown family home all burned in the recent SCU Lightning Complex Fire. The winery building itself, however built with a timber frame using redwood from... the estatewas miraculously spared. As you enjoy this month's selection of Provencal-inspired rose and cool-climate Syrah from this very special place, we invite you to visit Big Basin Vineyards to learn more about how you can help. ___________________________________________ Discover more #organic #biodynamic and #sustainable wines from great CA #terroir. One of the bottles featured in October's Harverst Club is the inaugural Chardonnay release from the Joy Fantastic Vineyard, situated on a steep hillside in prime western Sta. Rita Hills terroir. Picked from the top of the vineyard where the soils are very thin and rich in diatomaceous earth, this shows real Sta Rita Hills character, as creamy citrus flavors and nutty complexity perfectly balanced by racy acidity and umami-laced finish. ___________________________________________________________ Discover more #organic #biodynamic and #sustainable wines from great CA #terroir. So... how can you tell if a wine is biodynamic? 1- Look at the back label: There are only 2 biodynamic certifications in the world. Mainly Demeter International, and also Biodyvin that certifies European wineries.... You have to have either one of these on the label to be sure it is genuine. 2- Just ask us. You'll be sure it is genuine.

ONLY 3 DAYS LEFT FOR THIS WINE OF THE WEEK SALE! IT IS A BORDEAUX VALUE-HUNTER’S DREAM: 2018 MONTLANDRIE CASTILLON COTES DE BORDEAUX, FRANCE 29.59 per bottle for 6 bottles or more... or 33.29 per bottle (Regular: 36.99) Made by famed Pomerol winemaker Denis Duranto of L’Eglise Clinet, Chateau Montlandrie is known among savvy Bordeaux buyers as a source for great values from the Right Bank.
