However, in the first century, through an appearance to the Apostle John during his period of exile on the isle of Patmos, the Lord Jesus Christ provided a timeless evaluation of His churches' health. Last week Moms and little ones were able to gather together for a festive pumpkin patch event! In case you missed it, mark your calendars for November 18th for a "Momsgiving" themed playdate!. Last weekend, over 30 people attended our first Biblical Counseling Conference! These four sessions of teaching were instrumental in learning the basics of how to counsel other brothers and sisters in Christ in the word of God. In Luke 7:11-17, there is a widow who is also grieving her young son's death. Jesus sees her and regards her as he looks on her with compassion. We have a personal Savior! He sees us, cares for us, and ultimately has saved us! In Luke, Jesus healed the young boy, but this story here isn't so that we would only hope for miracles but so that we would know what a great and might Savior we have in Christ Jesus! #missionbiblechurch

In the past two weeks of our MBC Equip class on Evangelism, we've learned rich theological and practical truth to be "soul winners" for Christ! Our church family Operation Christmas Child packing party on Saturday, Nov 7th, is the perfect opportunity to serve as a family. We're asking families to bring $10-20 worth of toys to stuff into the boxes while providing crayons and coloring pages for you and your family to write/decorate letters to the children. This is sure to be a fun morning serving together, and don't forget to wear a Christmas sweater! #missionbiblechurch
