Great is our God! We are tempted to believe that peace and security come in knowing what is next, but it truly comes from trusting in the one with all power, knowledge, and wisdom!

Pastor Jesse preached out of Revelation 1:9-18 as the beginning of a series about the letters that the Apostle John wrote during his exile to the island of Patmos. In these verses, Christ is exalted! The truths that were written to these 7 churches are also applicable to us today. John's vision of the Lord drew him to fall on his face before the glory of the Lord! This is the Christ who is in the midst of his church, who is preeminent before all things, who died to make his bride holy, and who we will all one day stand before! Check out this sermon and share it with a friend by finding it on our website or YouTube channel! #missionbiblechurch

In our modern twenty-first century context, there are countless church consultants whofor a substantial feeare willing to offer churches a ministry health assessment. However, in the first century, through an appearance to the Apostle John during his period of exile on the isle of Patmos, the Lord Jesus Christ provided a timeless evaluation of His churches' health. Through a series of seven short lettersor postcardsoriginally written to early churches in Asia Minor, ...the Lord has given churches like ours His own divinely-inspired ministry health assessment. God’s perfect Word is always timely, but Christ’s letters to the churches are particularly important for our church to engage with and understand as we embark on what we pray is a fruitful season of ministry ahead! I n a new sermon series, Postcards from Patmos, Pastor Jesse will be preaching through each of Christ’s letter to His churches. Join us this Sunday, November 1, for the first sermonPrologue in our new Postcards from Patmos series! #missionbiblechurch

In Luke 7:11-17, there is a widow who is also grieving her young son's death. Jesus sees her and regards her as he looks on her with compassion. We have a personal Savior! He sees us, cares for us, and ultimately has saved us! In Luke, Jesus healed the young boy, but this story here isn't so that we would only hope for miracles but so that we would know what a great and might Savior we have in Christ Jesus! #missionbiblechurch

Because of Christ's work on the cross, we can confidently come before the throne of God! It is there where we find the grace that carries us through each day. or any circumstance. What a gift it is to go to God in prayer! #missionbiblechurch

Our church family Operation Christmas Child packing party on Saturday, Nov 7th, is the perfect opportunity to serve as a family. We're asking families to bring $10-20 worth of toys to stuff into the boxes while providing crayons and coloring pages for you and your family to write/decorate letters to the children. This is sure to be a fun morning serving together, and don't forget to wear a Christmas sweater! #missionbiblechurch
