Dear customers and community, As we respond to COVID-19, there will be changes when you visit our stores starting May 8. In addition to extra cleaning and social distancing, our staff is required to follow other safety measures. For instance, at the start of their shift, our staff will complete a check-in process which includes taking their temperature to ensure they are ready and able to work. Staff is also required to wear face mask and frequently wash their hands when on t...he clock. We are taking these actions to help keeping you ( visitor), your family and our community safe. So please when you visit our store, we respectfully ask that you practice social distancing and wear facial covering as recommended by public health officials (CDC). Our business has reopened to rent surfboard, bodyboard, skim-board, and bikes to ensure our visitors and local community keep moving while outdoors. Although the boardwalk remains closed, Mission Beach is surrounded by bike lanes and other areas at the bay with great bike paths. If you are planning on spending some time at the beach and you forget you sunglasses to walk at the beach or you need a beach towel after your water activity, we have it too. We have closed our doors temporarily to stay-at-home as per our Governor’s order. It wasn’t an easy decision but a necessary one to protect our employees and our community from this invisible enemy, the Coronavirus. It would have been great if other businesses would have done the same instead of calling themselves essencial and putting all of our lives at risk acting like this was a part of the Spring Break.
