Tucker is moving across the country. We are so sad to see him go! We made sure he got a big kiss before he left! (And lots of other kisses that are not so visible!). #SWAK

Sometime even big, giant puppies need Saturday cuddles. We are more than happy to provide cuddles for comfort to our patients every day of the week!

It was with deep sadness that we had to say goodbye to our beloved bird, Tuffy, today. He was 45 years old and had a very rough first half of his life. We knew when we got him that his poor nutrition and upbringing for the first 24 years would catch up to him eventually and shorten his life. It came to a point today where unconditional love, modern medicine, lots of treats, and being spoiled rotten could no longer keep his little body going. Fully feathered once again, we know he flies free and happy.

Pet of the Week: Hello, my name is Enoki. I am a 2-year-old domestic short hair. My favorite activity is playing with spiral spring toys. My favorite food is dried chicken.... I am cutest when I sleep with my mom. I get into trouble when I hiss at my foster kittens. I was rescued by CARMA and lived in a foster home for a year to rebuild my trust and confidence. Six months later my new mom adopted me from Petsmart and now I am living that OC life and not hiding anymore.

Pet of the Week: Hello, my name is Bella. I am a 13 1/2-year-old Yorkie/Pom. My favorite activity is carrying around my big red bear. My favorite treat is chicken jerky.... I am cutest when I wear a bow in my hair. I get into trouble when I run down the street. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and when I was three-months-old I flew on a plane to California.

Pets of the Week: Hello, our names are Stella and Paxton. We are a 4-year-old Puggle and a 6-year-old Dalmation/Beagle mix. Stella likes to bark at crows and Paxton likes to hunt lizards, but he gets into trouble if he hurts them. Stella's best trick is shake and spinning and Paxton's is shake.... We both love to eat all kinds of food and treats. Stella is cute always and Paxton is cutest when he is sleeping. Both of us were rescued by CARMA and fostered by our family who decided to keep us forever. Stella was pregnant with 5 puppies and left at the shelter. Now she is her mom's shadow and love of her life. Paxton had a sever ear infection and hematoma. He loves people and all animals.

Pet of the Week: Hello, my name is Rolo. I am a 6-month-old Maltese mix. My favorite activity is playing with my other dog Jack. My best trick is "find it."... My favorite treat is turkey. I am cutest when I want my belly rubbed. I get into trouble when I grumble. I was born on the street, then I got captured by the animal services. I was picked up by Shay's Rescue, and then the next thing I knew I was adopted by the Orologas family.

Registration is now open for CARMA's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament. We have golfing, lunch, a silent auction, and of course the helicopter golf ball drop for a chance to win $2,500! Perhaps your employer would like to participate in one of several sponsorship opportunities or donate an item for the silent auction. If you know any motivated groups who would like to sell golf ball drop tickets, they may earn $4 for each ball they sell for their group. We hope to see you there!
