Have you ever wondered what the meaning was behind our Shepherd Church logo? Continue to read below, as Pastor Dudley shares in a recent post... "The Logo for Shepherd Church is simple but has many elements in the design. The "S", unlike Superman's logo, stands for the name of our church but represents THEE Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. It's also colorful which depicts our church as a multi-ethnic church. Next, there is a pathway, a small narrow road that leads to heaven.... You will see the colors of red, Christ blood that washes our sins away. Blue, which represents baptism by immersion into Jesus' name. Green stands for our growth and the process of being discipled and yellow represents heaven. Lastly, the logo has a look that reminds one of an old stained glass church window. And this speaks to our heritage and the fact that we have had an influence in our community for over a hundred years.
