I'm a Clinical Psychologist at UCLA and wanted to let you know of two paid research studies in case you are interested. Since COVID, I have seen an increase in youth who are depressed so thought these studies may be relevant and helpful for some of you:... 1) Parents who have a child that is depressed/suicidal/self-harming. I will send you a link to an online tool to help parents consider how to reduce lethal means in the home. I'll call you to ask 2 follow-up questions. You will receive $25 Amazon gift card. Total study time= approx 20 minutes (Parents only) 2) Depressed Teens (12-18) and their parents are invited to participate in a 14-day, family-based study, where teens and parents will complete 5-min daily surveys to help the teen & parent with daily coping. We will do a 90-minute call before and after to complete measures and consents. Each family member can earn up to $80.
