Normally I would write my own post, but my truly wonderful and eloquent Boutique Manager, Carynn Milne , has said this better than I think I possibly could, and... entirely of her own volition. In her words: "In this time of crisis and uncertainty, it is reassuring to know that there are those that are purely dedicated to bringing beauty into this world. It is no secret that I work for Dark Garden Corsetry in San Francisco. I uprooted my life in Santa Cruz to come work for this amazing company because I truly believe in everything it stands for. Acceptance, compassion, inclusivity, excellence, artistry, and above all, beauty. I have spent 3 years (to the DAY) on the floor of the boutique (nearly a decade with the company working Dickens and special events) fitting hundreds of individuals; helping them realize that dreams can come true and affirming their own individual, uncommon, unquestionable beauty. I work with a team of artists who I consider family; who I look up to and who push me every day to develop not only as an artist myself but as a human being. No decision I have every made in my entire life has affected me, at the core of my being, like this job has. It has made me into a better person.
