Eco World is proudly partnered with The Red Cross and would like to get information out to the community on how we can all help with The Creek Fire victims. The... Red Cross CAN NOT accept any physical donations such as food, water, supplies, or clothing due to COVID-19 restrictions. Their disaster relief center to get temporary assistance such as water, a cooling center, and registration for aid is located at Clovis North High School. This location also has Eco World clothing and shoes collection bins to collect donations. In return Eco World’s information is at the registration table for the victims to get vouchers for free clothing, shoes, and essentials from local thrifts that have joined the efforts to help. Clovis Hills Community Church is directly across the street from Clovis North and they CAN accept physical donations of clothing, water, and food as well as distribute it. Eco World has donation bins on site as well as vouchers. If you would like to donate clothing and shoes but can not leave your home you can schedule an at home pick up at Just Porch It. If you would like to donate other items please keep in mind grocery store gift cards, restaurant gift cards, and prepaid credit cards help the most and can be dropped off at Clovis Hills Community Church. People are still looking to house themselves along with their livestock and pets. How you can help fire evacuation Red Cross at clovis north is no longer accepting donations. They are sending everyone across the street. Red Cross is doing hot...el vouchers and evacuee check ins all night. Here are the biggest needs: First responders: tall wool socks, waters (currently truck can’t get up to bring waters but the fire crew up the hill knows we have water and will be getting some from clovis hills tomorrow) Evacuees: Greatest needs: bread, peanut butter or spreads, jelly, kids items for comfort (small stuffed animal, coloring set with crayons, small bagged toys, lego sets bagged up, crayola color kits) meals that are shelf stable but can be cooked in a microwave with no prep (easy mac, cup noodles, micro oatmeal, pre made meals shelf stable) apples, individual cereals, towels, socks, new packages of undershirts, new packages of underwear, diapers, wipes, toiletries. $25 gift cards for target/Walmart or gas stations. So far good on water and toothbrushes, snacks. Feel free to drop off at Clovis Hill church. Across the street from the Red Cross center at clovis north. Willow/international

We are working closely with a few organizations in town to provide a donation center to those in need from the fires... *Red Cross cannot take clothing/shoe donations at this time, but we can! They will be directing families to us and other local thrift stores and centers! *Red Cross is asking for gift card donations for Food places and grocery stores. Also, many people will be without shelter after their 72 hour Red Cross assistance is up, if you have any rentals, extra roo...ms, resources for housing, please let us know! *Donate at our green bins onsite at 1744 E Nees Ave OR at the Clovis Hills / Clovis North bins!
