Today marks the end of an era for Safe Harbor - our beloved Director of Admissions, Maggie Grisham, is leaving the program after over 11 years. She has been the first voice our women hear and the one families turn to for guidance. With 25 years of sobriety, Joe feels blessed for the opportunity to serve and give back. Joe is passionate about helping restore hope, strength and dignity to those in need. 449 Recovery is honored to have Joe on our staff! Katie Simpson serves as the Operations Manager for Safe Harbor. After attending Rowan University for Public Relations and Marketing, she relocated to California from the East Coast and began her journey in recovery in 2016. Katie started her career in the Behavioral Health field as support staff and has worked her way through various roles and departments before growing into her current position. Her scope of work involves creating and maintaining a safe environment for the women in our program. Katie offers a deep level of compassion and understanding to the Safe Harbor family that only comes from having gone through similar life experiences. Michael has worked in the behavioral health field for three years, beginning as support staff with Milestone Detox. Michael’s hard work, knowledge, and sincere desire to provide the best care possible have led him to his current position as operations manager.
