Here's a promotional shoot I did with Paul Locatelli and Brian DeDiego of the Santa Cruz Real Estate Team. I showed up to what seemed to be a 10 million dollar home overlooking the Rio Del Mar flats / beach. It was pretty epic. We showed up just before the sun set so I could play around with getting the the sun behind them in the shots. I'm stoked on the turnout. Great working with these guys. @brittni_yurchak needed a promotional shot for her business Mindful Health, LLC and Erin Buchla was kind enough to let us use her awesome coffee shop @cruisecoffeecafe in Scotts Valley as a shooting location. Brittni will soon be carrying her baked goods there also. I’m so damn proud of this lady. She’s been hustling everyday to expand her business. She’s been baking, marketing, getting proper licenses, networking, consulting and basically kicking ass. We also finally found a...n industrial kitchen where we can mass produce these treats. It’s been a scary ride with a lot of uncertainty but she’s been facing those fears and and has been making a ton of progress. It’s been super inspiring to be around. Here’s one of the shots we got last Friday. Damn @brittni_yurchak is f&cking hot af! . Makes my job a lot easier. Used two 600 watt strobes (one with a 48 octobox m, the other with a 12 x 60 strip box). Used my 70-200mm lens zoomed into about 135mm. @brittni_yurchak and I met up with @fitbeauty_bymeghan at Wilder Ranch and did some shooting. We tried to get a surreal look by under exposing the sky and hitting her with a 600w, off camera flash with a 48 octobox with a grid. We also set up an off camera speed light to add highlights to her hair and back. She did great! So did we pull off the surreal look? #MikeRossPhotography
