I PASSED my exam!!! I am now a certified spin instructor! What I thought was serendipitous is at the end of the email saying I passed with my grade included, there was a quote from Abraham Lincoln The purpose of life, is to find your gift. The meaning of life is to give it away. My touched base on that very idea in my past post before seeing that I passed. So I’m excited to do some new things with spin videos or maybe even get some classes offered in our studio one day! Who knows! All I know is that I’m excited and I’m not going to stop learning! #personaltrainer #spininstructor

Been working on my confidence. As a personal trainer there’s so much pressure to be perfect. I am really hard on myself and put myself down, my own worst critic. But I’ve been finding the balance between living an enjoyable lifestyle without all the crazy restrictions of dieting to be chiseled and healthy eating intuitively while working out to be strong. I don’t want to drive myself crazy counting calories or feeling bad for eating dessert or carbs. That’s not a way to liv...e. I want to model for my clients confidence from inner strength, confidence in what I can do because I know I’m strong, not in just merely how I look. It’s a continuous journey but I constantly am pushing myself to be confident and it will shine on the outside, I put myself out there and one of my favorite brands featured me on their story! Here’s to living life confident and happy under no restrictions but listening to my body and becoming the bad ass woman I know I’m meant to be. See more

Getting back in my groove. I don’t always feel like it but once I’m in my workout or spin, I feel myself ready to take it on! I’m not perfect and I won’t ever portray to be...(I used to try to portray I was, that I had it all together, that did not end well for me!) Life can be so not pretty at times, BUT take one day at a time and give each day what you got. Get to know yourself so you can rest when you need it. ... Debating on putting some content out about self confidence as I’m on that journey right now. Here’s your encouragement to keep doing you boo!!! I’m here if you need me...and that’s on truth!

This 2020 holiday season is quite the fight for it to be peaceful and enjoyable!! Can I get an Amen?! Instead of focusing on the negative thoughts, what others have said to you, how you think others view you, thinking you aren’t enough or worthy of love. ... FOCUS on the positive! -I’m alive -I have a roof over my head -I have food to eat Those are just the basics. I can go on and on for simple things I’m thankful for, I suggest you make a list to remind yourself in those dark moments. Also, make a list of who you are so you can refer back to it when you are feeling low/depressed. It truly is helpful. Forget the shit talkers, they are spending their time being a shitty person. They aren’t helping anyone, only hurting those around them. Don’t be that person. Focusing on the negative will only spiral you down where no one should be. I take my emotions out on the weights, I use it to fuel my intensity in my cardio workouts and I feel so much better after!!! Find an outlet to help you focus on the good things and I promise you’ll be find happiness! I know from experience So hang in there, I truly am here if you need to vent or you need a good workout!

Goal Completed! 20 spins in November. There were times I wanted to talk myself out of it but announcing my goal out loud, helped to keep myself accountable. So I’m continuing on to 20 Spins in December. So join me in setting a goal for 20 days in December! You can make it any goal for movement, walking, running, working out etc. but let’s commit to 20 days in December to feeling better! ... If you want workouts, I can send them to you! I just want you to feel better through the holidays! I’d love to help! Side note: @ethika @ethikagirls has me snatching up all their undies and bras, seriously the best, most comfortable I’ve ever worn! Never going back!

My Biggest Flex I always find ways to get past the obstacles set in front of me. Yes, there will be times I complain and have a tendency in the past to sit in indecision but I’ve learned how to just go for it with my 100%. Honestly, I’ll credit my husband for the push...the no shits given, just work hard and find a way attitude. What’s your Biggest Flex?! ...
