Today’s Buyers Are Serious about Purchasing a Home Today’s homebuyers are not just talking about their plans, they’re actively engaged in the buying process and they’re serious about it. A recent report of American adults considering a future home purchase in the second quarter of 2020, about half (49%) are not simply planning it, they are actively engaged in the process to find a home. That is a significantly higher share than the comparable figure a year ago (41%), which suggests that the COVID-19 crisis and its accompanying record-low mortgage rates have converted some prospective buyers into active buyers.

Millennials come learn how to buy a home!!! Stop Renting and Start Owning You Own Home Today!!! Not long ago, some poor soul suggested (and probably instantly regretted) the reason Millennials can’t afford to buy homes is because they spend too much money on avocado toast. While the digital outcry from Millennials was instantly indignant, that indigence may have been justified. Home ownership is difficult to achieve if you belong to the generation with $1.4 trillion dollar...s in student loan debt. However, it isn’t impossible for Millennials to achieve the quintessential American dream of homeownership. While the median home price is roughly 1000 percent higher than it was when our grandparents bought their first homes right out of high school or trade school 50 years ago, there are many ways Millennials can prepare themselves for homeownership, and none of them involve selling a kidney. INTRODUCING THE GREATER SACRAMENTO URBAN LEAGUE'S HOME2OWN PROGRAM. "STAY TUNED" Many individuals and families in low-to-moderate income households across the Sacramento region are paying more and more with the increasing cost of rising rents. Yet, many are even more wary of the home buying process. Many seek information and honest answers into the home buying process without feeling like they are just a transaction. And still many feel that homeownership, a fundamental piece... of the American Dream, is out of reach for them. I am honored that the Sacramento Gsul has hired me as the Housing Coordinator with a mission to spearhead the launch of the HOME2OWN program that will educate renters how to navigate the process of becoming owners of their own home. The Greater Sacramento Urban League’s Home2Own Program, a core focus of the GSUL’s Homeownership Division, is designed to empower individuals and families for whom homeownership would be difficult, if not impossible. If you know anything about me, you already know that I am on a mission together with HOME2OWN to "Change The Way That People Get Into Homes" "STAY TUNED" #50homeowners2019 #home2own #stoprentingstartbuying #changingthewaythatpeoplegetintohomes

Congratulations! You just moved into your own home and there are many so many memories waiting to be made. Don’t forget to give yourself some time to adjust to... the expenses of homeownership. It may be tempting to redecorate or paint the cabinets right away, but it couldn’t hurt to wait a few months to get used to your new monthly budget. #50homeowners2019 #stoprentingstartowning #home2own #allcitymichael #changingthewaythatpeoplegetintohomes See more

Can you help me! I am on a mission to help 50 families this year realize the dream of homeownership. Although many have said to me that this is a tall task, I believe with the help of my colleagues here on facebook, I can achieve this goal. If you know anyone that's renting and looking to become a homeowner, have them contact me. Share my page with them or introduce that person to me. Thank you in advance for all the support in helping me achieve my mandated goal of #50homeowners2019 Michael Estes
