Subacromial decompression surgery is a common procedure performed for the treatment of subacromial impingement and with rotator cuff repairs. But does the surgery improve treatment outcomes? A narrative review by Luciano Rossi and Maximiliano Ranalletta published in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery looked at the outcomes of subacromial decompression surgery.
