We are proud to announce a new program for independent creators and companies, our Metastage Volcap Access Program! What is it? New experimental program for a limited number projects per month. The Access Program makes it easier than ever for small companies to do volumetric projects or for larger companies to build internal support with POCs.... Who qualifies? You must be an independent creator. Access Partners get free stage time, limited to four hours, and will only pay for processed minutes. All project creative must be approved prior to the shoot. Why now? In 2020 we added Azure Cloud processing and storage to our workflow. The Metastage Volcap Access Program is a direct result of being able to store and process content on the cloud. With this program, we hope to make space for everyone at the volumetric table and promote wider adoption of this cutting edge human-centric technology. Contact [email protected] for inquiries! A new 19 Crimes #AR experience marks an industry first in the use of volumetric capture technology -- watch as the wine bottle transforms into a tiny theater depicting a historical re-enactment of iconic rebel John O’Reilly’s story. Four cinematic scenes show the harrowing tale of O’Reilly’s sentencing, imprisonment, escape and journey aboard a prison ship to Australia. Each scene is played out by real actors captured volumetrically at Metastage and placed inside of historically accurate CG sets for a fully cinematic XR experience. Users can download the Living Wine Labels app and activate each scene by holding their mobile devices over the four supported bottles. Enjoy (responsibly)!
