Our Annual Family Fun Night was a huge success! Thank you to the businesses that participated and decorated to our Decades theme! It was definitely a Blast to the Past! Thank you to Party Animal Co for their Balloon Room display, to the Valley Vintage car club, Loretta the amazing face painter, and to Dave Luna/97.5 for always having fun with us!! This year we let our guests vote for Best Booth Decorations and we had a TIE!! Agaves Mexican Grill and EECU were our Booth Winners!! Thank you to everyone who showed their support, and we will see you again next year!!

TWO Exciting Announcements regarding our Family Fun Night! 1. Party Animal Co. will be setting up an AMAZING Balloon Room exhibit! This will be an awesome set up where you can walk through and take photos/selfies/etc with her amazing backdrops! Find them at 755 Suite E (in between The Studio and EECU) 2. Valley Vintage Car Club will have some of their cars on display! We will have parking blocked off between Starbucks and Mechanics Bank tomorrow throughout the day so that we... can ensure they have the proper parking stalls available! We can't wait to see you all there! Don't forget to stop by the Heritage Management Hippies booth to vote for BEST BOOTH! Wingstop was the winner last year, but which business will have the best Decades-Themed booth this year?! The winning business gets a $100 VISA Card!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! The Promenade is so excited to announce that the new restaurant filling the vacant space across from Strings is TERIYAKI DON! If you are a Fresno transplant, or if you frequent the Fresno area, we are pretty positive that you have heard of them! They have been in business for nearly 20 years and have wow'd the Fresno area with Japanese food that is not only easy on the wallet, but great tasting with fast delivery! This will be so perfect for the lunch.../dinner crowds as well as our local student population! They will have a condensed menu compared to their Fresno location to start off, but you will still get your mainstay favorites such as many different types of bowls, sushi, tempura, even delicious cheeseburgers and fries! We are so excited for their future at our Center and we will give out more information as it comes along. They are shooting towards a Late July opening. Gaining a reputable and successful business has been our primary goal and we have found that with Teriyaki Don! As their second location, they will bring an abundance of experience with them to our beloved Center and we can't wait to see what they cook up! Frozen World is now Open at the Promenade! Stop on in for a tasty treat!

Hello Promenade Customers! Thank you for your continued support of our many successful retail and restaurants at our center! We hope that 2019 is off to a fabulous start for all of you! We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that we have a delicious new eatery opening up where Cricket Wireless used to be (in between Wingstop and Lucky Lotus). They will have a mix of Mexican and American snacks, desserts, and more! The official name as well as the Grand Opening i...s TBD but when we have more information we will let you all know! We are very excited for their concept and we know it will appeal to all demographics! We know the owner very well and he has a great vision for the suite. Lastly, we do want to confirm the Merced Sun-Star article that was on the front page today. Unfortunately, we were not asked to comment on the closure so we thought this would be a great platform. Bobcat Diner closed their doors in early December. Since that time, we have been actively searching for a new business and so have the owners of Bobcat Diner. If you know an entrepreneur or another business that you feel would be a great addition to the Promenade, please let them know to contact us! Who do you think would do really well at this awesome corner location?!

To our amazing customers that visit The Promenade: We are aware of the front page article in the Merced Sun Star this morning (11/14/17) that spotlights many parking lot complaints in the Merced area. We are also aware of some of the highlighted issues that were noted regarding The Promenade's parking situation. We welcome civil discourse in regards to our customer parking because it is our goal to ensure that our customers enjoy The Promenade and frequent The Promenade now a...nd into the future. We wanted to take this time to point out some of the ways we are doing our part to address parking complaints. We recently completed a large project where we installed 56 new parking stalls in the Northwest part of our center. These 56 stalls are available as customer overflow parking and we are currently strategizing this area for Promenade Employee parking. This strategy was implemented in September and we feel that there has been a substantial relief of parking congestion in a short amount of time. Another way we are trying to curb the parking issue is by labeling all of the stalls inside the middle retail area as 2-Hour customer parking (this does not include the stalls immediately next to the buildings or handicap stalls). This allows our customers to park in the retail area, enjoy a bite to eat at our many restaurants, shop for glasses at C&J Optical, get a haircut at EDGE, work out at The Studio, deposit money at Rabobank or EECU, or stop in to check out the new phones at Cricket or Sprint with plenty of time to spare. Another complaint is regarding the tight stalls. We are aware of this issue as well and are looking at ways to possibly widen the stalls in our future planning. The middle retail area can definitely get crowded during peak times, so keep in mind that only 25 yards away is our customer overflow parking in the West side parking lot adjacent to Bobcat Diner. There is also some side parking adjacent to EECU and Fresh Cleaners. Florencio’s thanks you for the many years of dedication to their restaurant and The Promenade wishes them luck in their future endeavors. The Promenade will be welcoming a NEW Mexican restaurant in the coming weeks. The new owner is excited to be a part of such a vibrant center! They plan to do some improvements to the restaurant before they open, so please feel free to visit our other wonderful eateries in the meantime! We have a lot of exciting things happening at The Promenade. You may have heard that Five Star Tanning is unfortunately closing. We will miss our amazing staff at Five Star, but we are excited to transition this great corner location to a new locally-based business!! We would like to welcome Bobcat Diner to the Promenade family! North Merced needs an early-open full breakfast, lunch, and dinner eatery that is open late! Bobcat Diner has an amazing concept, and an even greater menu planned for you! They will begin permits/construction in May! Stay tuned for more exciting announcements!!
