This morning, Merced College highlighted over 100 employees and faculty members years of service. Among those recognized was Tony Lewis, who will be retiring this year after more than 41 years of service to the college. Lewis served as the Athletics & Veteran Counselor as well as Head Football Coach. Tony, thank you for your many years of service to the students and community of Merced College. Congratulations on your retirement!

Happy AAPI Heritage Month! In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, we would like to highlight, Juan Rodriguez, a Digital Media Specialist here at Merced College. "Culture to me is my identity. It is an essential aspect that differentiates myself from others but also a way to find camaraderie. My culture is a culmination of life lessons I gathered along the way; lessons that guided me through the toughest parts of my life. With all this, my culture doesn't define me.
