WHY NOT FEED ALL OF THE MILLIONS OF HOMELESS AMERICANS AND FOREIGN MIGRANTS VEGAN PRODUCE? WE HAVE A CRISIS HERE IN AMERICA. FOOD SHOULD NEVER EVER BE ONE, NOT EVER. THERE SHOULD BE A VEGAN CENTER FOR THE POOR OR HOMELESS IN EVERY CITY IN THE U.S., WHY NOT? WE HAVE TONS OF GOOD FOOD ROTTING IN THE FIELDS, AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN GOVERNMENT RESOURCES AND MONEY THAT HAS BEEN WASTED FOR DECADES. WHY? THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT AMERICANS BEING SOFT AND UNHEALTHY, BUT THEN THROW TONS AND TONS OF GOOD HEALTHY FOOD AWAY ALL DAY EVERY DAY. IT'S JUST TOTAL INSANITY.

MERCED NEEDS A VEGAN CAFE If you know anyone who would be interested in starting a Vegan café, Merced, California needs a large one. The Promenade in North Merced would be a good location for one, because it is between Merced College, and UC Merced and in the wealthiest part of town. And, I am not talking about some crazy oriental crap with iceberg lettuce and some rice, or one or two Vegan muffins or whatever in some half assed, hokey, mom and pop coffee shop like in the past. We need some really good Vegan food here in Merced on a grand scale.

WHY DON'T VEGANS AND CARNIVORES COMMUNICATE? Actually, the problem is a lack of information that stifles communication. There need to be commercials that explain Veganism without showing suffering animals, or talking about Veganism as if it's some sort of special club that only certain people are privy to. It needs to be explained in nutritional terms and for everyone. There are people trying to go Vegetarian and Vegan who feel intimidated by it all. They don't know what to buy or where to buy it, and they think it's cost prohibitive, or they don't want to look stupid or get ripped off.

I’m bad about procrastinating meal prepping. I hate relying on packaged foods, but I’ve found the easiest one skillet meal that makes enough for 2-3 lunches for... my husband and I. Literally just one bag of each (Bird’s eye Asian medley, Trader Joe’s Soycutash, and Simple Truth meatless crumbles), then add Cajun seasoning, done. It is delicious.
