An UPDATE from The Melting Pot! Dear fondue family, we have missed you! Earlier this week, Sacramento County was moved into the state's "substantial" tier, meaning that restaurants are able to resume indoor dining at 25% capacity. This is huge for the struggling restaurant industry, but the road to recovery will be a long one.... While we are eager to welcome you back into our dining room, we have been working hard behind the scenes on some restaurant updates. These include a new paint job, lighting and other aesthetic updates, as well as some COVID-specific modifications (i.e. additional partitioning between our booths). Because we have work scheduled to be completed over the next several weeks, we will not be reopening for dining until it is completed. We are not ready to announce an exact date, but we anticipate it will be in late October. We will send out an additional announcement once we have a date nailed down. For those of you with St. Jude cards, Dip Rewards certificates or other promotions that may have expired, please note that we intend on being extremely flexible with expiration dates so that you don't miss out. Please also note that once we are able to reopen, the 25% capacity order includes all staff on site, not just dining guests. This means that reservation availability will be extremely limited. Maximum party sizes will continue to be capped until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate these troubling times. Fondue Family: The Melting Pot of Sacramento will be voluntarily closing this evening after learning that an employee has potentially been exposed to COVID-19 outside of the restaurant. At this time we do not have any employees with a positive COVID-19 resulthowever, out of an abundance of caution for both our guests and team members we will be disinfecting and deep cleaning the restaurant in accordance with CDC guidelines. In light of recent events we are postponing our reopening plans until we are able to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. We will continue to post updates as we have new information.

The wait is over! We have missed you choc-o-lot! Beginning on June 1, we welcome our fondue family back for a unique fondue dining experience full of conversation, laughter, lasting memoriesand lots of cheese and chocolate fondue! As we reopen our doors for dine-in service, the safety and well-being of our guests is our top priority. We have always been loved for our semi-private setting and you will see this even more now as we will be seating guests to ensure social dista...ncing. We are taking things slow our temporary hours of operation will be 4pm to 9pm daily until otherwise announced. At this time we will be RESERVATION ONLY, and party sizes will be limited to a maximum of 6 guests. Whether you are coming to celebrate a missed special occasion, creating a new memory or simply enjoying a relaxing evening out of your home, we look forward to being part of turning your special moments into memories. Dear fondue family, You have probably heard that Sacramento County restaurants are allowed to reopen for dine-in service with modifications starting today. This is wonderful news for our staff, guests and the restaurant industry as a whole. While we are eager to welcome you back into our dining room, we will be taking a bit of time to work through modifications to our facilities and service model in order to ensure the safety of our guests and staff. We will announce our r...eopening date in the coming days. When we do reopen, we plan on continuing our takeout service. Your support during this time and feedback on the takeout program has been wonderful, and we are excited to be able to continue to offer an at-home fondue experience. Stay tuned for more!
