Here’s another #throwbackthursday going back to the beginning of American Honda automobiles! The N600 and Z600 were Honda’s first automobiles to be exported to the United States in 1970. They featured a 600cc two-cylinder alloy engine that could spin up to 9000 rpm and produced 45 horsepower. Honda stopped sales of the 600 in the United States in 1972, replacing them with the now-famous Civic.

This post goes all the way back to 1961. Mel Rapton partnered with Mike Salta to open a Pontiac dealer on Del Paso Boulevard in Sacramento. Almost 60 years later his legacy lives on here at Mel Rapton Honda. Even though the payments are a bit more now, you can still get a new car for $199 down!

Did you know: A child overheats up to 5 times faster than an adult. A pet can suffer permanent physical damage in as little as 20 minutes inside a hot vehicle.
