Today's Alumni Spotlight features David Kiley '71. David has made massive waves in the wheelchair community, including winning 9 Paralympic Gold Medals and starting one of the most recognized 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball tournaments in the world, DK3. David's 3x3 Wheelchair Basketball events strive to be a leader in the world for growing interest in 3x3 and training young athletes to compete at the Paralympic Games. David also uses this platform as a way to discuss social change. This only begins to tell the story of David's accomplishments. During #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth, we’re raising awareness about the importance of mental health. In addition to advising students on their academics, Mater Dei Counselors work with CHOC to implement the CHOC Wellness Program.
