We are so excited to kick off our summer Music line up with The Up and Down. If you would like to have a band table for the night, simply go to our website www.mckaysbeergarden.com and click on the google sign-up sheet then take a minute to fill out your info. You can come as early as 6:30 PM and music starts at 7 PM. As long as you are eating and drinking, you’re welcome to sit and enjoy the music. Just remember that Main Street closes to car traffic at 3 PM on Fridays so you can park in any of the nearby public parking spots. Can’t wait to see you there!!!

The State’s Shelter in Place order has not been extended. We purchased food and hired back staff to serve you safely for outdoor dining. Why are we opening? 1 While restaurants were open this past Summer and Fall with patio dining and even indoor dining at 25% capacity, Covid19 cases in the Bay Area declined. 2 Spikes in Covid19 cases occurred exactly as predicted; peak summer bbq’s, post Halloween and post Thanksgiving, all due to private gatherings, not from restauran...ts. 3 We are part of the solutionBy allowing people to dine at restaurants in a clean, distanced, outdoor, healthy environment, people are likely to be more agreeable to avoiding private indoor gatherings (especially in winter), where increased cases have been proven to originate. Mental Health and understanding we are social beings has to be considered during this difficult time. 4 Restaurants have been arbitrarily closed while other industries remain open, often indoor in more confined and less sanitary spaces. This inconsistent illogical decision is only costing jobs and destroying businesses, not preventing Covid19 cases. Risk cannot be eliminated, it can be mitigated and we are doing this. We will keep tables spaced properly and we ask Families & ppl from the same house to come. Wear masks except while eating and drinking. 5 We built patio structures, parklets, paid for heaters and tents, followed all the orders only to be shut down again with no government assistance and again, with no proof that increased cases are stemming from our businesses. We are your neighbors, your friends and the employers of thousands of people in our communities. We sympathize with the concerns of our county and state leaders and the pain and suffering Covid19 is causing, but we are not the source. We are not the cause. In fact we believe strongly that our clean healthy outdoor environments give people a brief retreat, a time to feel normal, improving their mental health. This is why we must open and we ask you to understand and support our logic. We are masked up and compliant, following all health and safety guidelines and we look forward to serving you! We were so sad to have to reschedule Pamela Parker Trio last time due to bad air quality, come check them out this Saturday October 3 for the rescheduled date. Weather is supposed to cool off on Saturday and it should be a great night!! Please make a reservation on our website www.mckaysbeergarden.com. This is a premium reservation starting at 6:45pm and the Rez lasts till the band is over at 9pm. Band table reservations are $30 per table with up to 6 ppl per table. This fee goes directly to the band and helps us support our local musicians. And trust me, Pamela Parker Trio will be worth it!!!
