a colleague's project here - just another day in SF.. our film group, the Sixtysixers, shot a scene on this very cul-de-sac wherein Ellen was run over by our volvo - and we thought we might piss off the neighbors then! ha.

let's see more of this style of design in SF.... a boy can dream :)

THANK YOU for writing this article. Anyone who has had 5 minutes with me over the past 15years of working in SF has probably heard my gripes about working around / against / under the Planning Dept. I've done their job for them, I've had to find loopholes, and I've been disappointed by them time and again. The things we do to get good design approved! 8 Octavia is a beautiful building, perfect example to include in this article. I am hopeful that a change is coming, with new trained staff, and the awareness that it's 2017, that we'll be given more freedom and encouragement for good modern design.
