Due to the pandemic, the craft cocktail competition has been modified so you can enjoy these creations in the comfort of your own home and bubble. From now until October 30, enjoy curbside pickup of their cocktail kits at Theatre Square. They’ll be there today between 11 am - 1 pm. Each cocktail kit is $50 and contains everything you need but the alcohol to replicate the award-winning craft cocktail creations from this year’s event. I am blessed to be surrounded by smart young women in my family. Today, our daughter-in-law, an emerging Byzantinist (look it up), successfully defended her master’s thesis and will begin her doctoral studies in the fall. A year ago, our daughter graduated with her master’s degree in early childhood education, focusing on special needs children. These women, and women like them, are our future.
