Updated August 2020: We are currently creating plans to thoughtfully and carefully begin the process of getting to a post COVID-19 normal. This process is anything but easy. While some states may be reopening businesses, schools, and recreational opportunities based upon geography, community spread, and trends; retirement communities like ours must have a different reopening schedule because our older adult residents are considered the most vulnerable to COVID-19 and we ar...e concerned about their health and well-being. Throughout this process we will continue to follow and maintain compliance with all CDC guidelines as well as mandates for all state and local health departments while balancing resident social engagement with quality of life. The health of our residents and staff will remain our top priority. Meals Residents can order breakfast or lunch from our Mayflower Café Sunday through Thursday and meals are delivered directly to their apartments at no extra charge. Our Mini Mart is also open Monday through Friday for snacks and small necessities wherein residents can charge items and have them also delivered to their apartments directly at no extra charge. Our weekly Food Bank is every Tuesday and residents can come to the MPR front doors while following social distancing protocols and wearing a mask to pick up their weekly bags. Residents who need accommodation, we are providing delivery service of weekly food bags every Tuesday afternoon. Activities among the residents are being held, we just ask that residents wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Monthly Craft Kits are being created and delivered directly to residents’ apartments upon reservation. August 17th we are starting a Community Wide Socially Distant Bingo wherein residents can win prizes such as gift cards or themed gift baskets. Socially Distant Painting in the Park is set for August 19th and 20th with proper Social Distancing Guidelines put into place for residents who wish to join. Every Friday we also have set up a Coffee and Donuts pick-up event for residents who wish to enjoy a little extra treat at a reasonable price. At Mayflower We encourage all residents to wear masks outside throughout our community, and maintain social distancing. Tours Virtual tours are available to view our model apartments.
