Living the Dream 07.07.2021

It is my soul month the month I was born into this portal into all of this wild and crazy world. As the sun rules shimmering all over this part of the continent and yellow wildflowers bloom, I found myself in a wild experience ... driving across meadows to a herd of 300 wild horses seeing 2 coyotes dash into the center of the wild horses chasing each other... one had a little game in his mouth... So the wild horses began to chase both coyotes out of the herd... one dashed awa...y getting his game laughing at his friend while I raced the coyote down the meadow.... he was fast! And although I know someone would frown upon this chase racing parallel paths to the coyote and seeing the endurance and the beauty and how fast a coyote can run made me realize that the trickster is just so present in our life as a beautiful part of creation that we all must go through tricky situations in life... and in our collective sweetest existence, my soul continues to deepen and purifies... eyes wide open. This particular summer has been incredibly so much of a blessing. As a premed student who had a lot of struggles last semester with not my studies but with the conundrum /knndrm/ noun a confusing and difficult problem or question of limited housing in my area, buying a van, then deciding that buying land is more long term wise in sustainable decisions for my family... my grades did not suffer yet I had to let my premed classes go for this semester delaying my medical degree and all of what comes with being premed. It was just too much to be camping in a pandemic as a premed student and there we other truly unseemly unsurmountable unspeakable yet acknowledged mountains to ascend that I did ascend ... realizing true success really is in a garden... this pandemic teaches it all comes back to that we’ve got to eat and have clean water and my focus really has turned to local community supported agriculture. So until this dream unfolds it is learning what wild foods/medicines look like in all seasons. This once was the true mark of womanhood for all ancient women everywhere, for us to read the land in all of her seasons to protect and provide for our families...
