Love it when the @sandmangoespewpew comes out to get some precision practice in with us. Today we did 6 field course stages where the shooter was able to locate, range, and quickly formulate a plan before being given 70 seconds to establish a firing position & engage the large target with 1 shot and the small target with 2 shots. Amir is a good sport and fun dude to hang around. We’re proud to be part of his precision rifle journey. Good run homie!

Got Skillz? This was our moving target qualification today. Target is a 4 Diamond at 70 yards moving 3mph. Shooter must move to the firing area, deploy their tripod to a standing position and engage the target with 5 shots. To pass the shooter must hit the first shot and have a total score of 3 out of 5 while only being allowed two target passes. Iron sharpens iron. Are you sharp? Can’t wait to hear the comments just hold lead edge! Yeah sure, and you will miss. Lead edge is relative to the target size and distance youre shooting. A true rifleman who has embraced the craft knows their lead in an angular unit of measure. #Getoutwiththatleadedgebullshit

High Angle Precision Hunter what an epic time we had yesterday. Mountains. Cliffs. Fresh breeze. Shifty winds. If you don’t catch the mirage shift... good luck to you. Small targets. Big angles. Wind. Distances out to 900 depending on which location we shot from. Nothing short of fun and amazing for mountain training.

Yesterday was all about Steve! And we were happy to work with him. It was a private instruction day. He had rifle experience but some skills and problems he was noticing but wasn’t able to solve by himself. No problem. Had a great time working with him and he left feeling far more comfortable and capable having solved the minor issues and fundamental problems.
