With the Las Vegas Raiders commencing their first draft today we wish our neighbors, the Las Vegas Raiders, and our soon-to-be tenants, the Raiderettes, clear eyes and full hearts as they make their picks.

Progress swiftly continues on UnCommons Las Vegas! The tilt walls have been erected on both of the office buildings, and our parking structures are nearly complete. Next up, crews will begin excavating the footings for the foundation of Las Vegas' first food hall next Monday, which will be coming to UnCommons when it opens next year!

Less than a year after signing the first lease, Matter Logistics Center @ West Cheyenne is now 100% leased! Among the impressive lineup of tenants to our 725,000-square-foot North Las Vegas logistics center is Jenni Kayne, which provides modern essentials for the wardrobe and home. "We’re so excited to join the Matter Logistics Center as our business grows, the company said. The new facilities are top of line, and we’re thrilled to be doubling our operations space in partnership with them."

Not only will our UnCommons Las Vegas urban complex be the first of its kind in Nevada, it will also be the first in the state to be built to International WELL Building Institute - IWBI standards in response to COVID-19. After all, the most important part of our structures are the people inside them.

We work at a fast pace, but not nearly as fast as Matter-sponsored driver Max Root who will be racing in the Rolex 24 at DAYTONA! After claiming sixth place as the youngest driver in last year's 24 Hours of Le Mans in France, we'll be cheering on Max from the sidelines in his next big race starting this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

When the first shutdown happened in March, we created the Uncommon Heroes project to help bring the community together to thank our local healthcare professionals. With the help of Burke Construction Group, Sushi Kame, Piero's Italian Restaurant, Lotus of Siam and Urth Caffé, we were able to feed the night shift healthcare workers at all 14 Las Vegas Valley hospitals more than 4,000 dinners. We have imported more than 32,000 cubic yards of soil to our UnCommons Las Vegas construction site, which is the same weight as roughly 351 African Elephants. Meet Kelly Lawson, our director of real estate. Finding the right piece of land takes a high level of detail coordination, and Kelly has been developing her lists since she started in real estate at 17 years old.
