2020 was an exciting year for me, aside from the COVID nightmare of course. Holey Moley did so well its first season, that it was renewed for a second season. Eureka Productions and ABC brought me back for more design work on the show. One of the things I was asked to create was a Superhero suit for one of the contestants, the wonderful Mr. Uzooma Utti. Uzooma wanted his superhero strength to be a phat beat. And so Super Uzo rose from the sound system ready to take on the villains of the world!

Sometimes in my business, I get projects which require a certain amount of discretion, and I have to wait to post about them until they are no longer a secret. In early 2019, I was approached by Eureka Productions and ABC to help create a look for a new television show called Holey Moley, an 'Extreme Miniature Golf" challenge show." Loving retro design like I do, I jumped at the opportunity to a part of this production. I worked with the show's costume designer Robin Gurney to create a retro 1970s vibe. We brought back the 1970's ABC Wide World of Sports mustard blazers for the announcers, and I created a series of plaid and argyle textiles from which we made clothing for the contestants. The crowning achievement was creating the "Coveted Winner's Jacket."
