We have been very busy this year! Look what we've been up to! PROJECT : Renoir Hotel LOCATION: San Francisco, CA CONSTRUCTION VALUE: $15 Million... OWNER: The Kor Group GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Build Group, Inc. ARCHITECT: Hornberger + Worstel The Renoir Hotel is a 135-room landmark hotel built in 1909 and optimally situated in the Mid-Market neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Construction includes the seismic strengthening of the existing structure and renovation of guestrooms, lobby, lounge, retail shop, and multiple food and beverage concepts. Below ground level, the hotel will provide a fitness center, restrooms, and 1,000 square feet of meeting space. A rooftop deck will accommodate up to 300 people for special events. MatriScope was contracted to provide special inspection and materials testing services including cast-in-place concrete, shotcrete, post-installed anchors, masonry, structural steel and fireproofing.

GENERAL CONTRACTOR: Hurley Construction ARCHITECT: KTGY Architects The Anton Menlo Multi-Family Housing Development is a 394 unit apartment community located in the heart of Silicon Valley within the prestigious Menlo Park community. Located less than 1.5 miles from the new Facebook West Campus, this contemporary, sustainable mixed-use community provides professionals a transit-oriented neighborhood in Menlo Park. The amenity-rich environment includes 13,200 square feet of indoor amenities and retail including: a clubroom, sports lounge, coffee shop, concierge service, a convenience market, self-service bike repair shop, leasing center, fitness center, and yoga room. Outdoor amenities include a resort-style pool, spa, entertainment lounge, sun lawn, game lawn and Bocce Ball, social lounge, and roof deck. . MatriScope provided services for cast-in-place concrete, concrete placement inspection, structural steel fabrication, welding and bolting inspection, and inspection of structural wood framing tie-downs.
